Brazil name Olympic squad

Coach Mano Menezes has named his squad for London 2012, and a strong squad at that. He included the likes of Neymar, Alex Pato and Hulk.

Hulk is one of the three over age players allowed in the team, the other two being Real Madrid defender Marcelo and the other Thiago Silva who plies his trade in Serie A for Ac Milan.

Two english based players were picked as well, Rafael of Manchester United and Sandro of Tottenham Hotspurs. Several of Brazil's promising youngsters have also been included, all of whom have senior caps: Leandro Damiao and Oscar (Internacional), Lucas Moura (Sao Paulo) as well as Ganso (Santos). Brazil have been drawn in Group C along with Egypt, Belarus and New Zealand and are aiming to win the one prize that has eluded them.
